Happy Friday awimb ...let's have some word fun!

You have to try and think of a word that is a noun, an adjective and a verb!

    I'll get us started.

    Hollow - hollow out a tree (verb); a hollow feeling(adjective); fell into a hollow(noun).

The Irishers like SW and Charlie are excused; they can't possibly be expected to know enough about English to participate but there's no reason they shouldn't watch the fun!

And no fecking dodgy made up adjectives ending in 'y'. Shouty is NOT a word.

    Very good. "Monster".
"Plenty of strikers can score goals," he said, gesturing to the famous old stands casting shadows around us.

"But a lot have found it difficult wearing the number 9 shirt for The Arsenal."

Do you mean this honourable gentleman? Pictured here in his lair, the Winchester Club.
