    What a ****ing turnaround.

I do hope they get relegated

If he'd only become rubbish last April, we'd have won the league.

If he was sacked then thats disgusting. Maybe he decided he wasnt up to it and left on the old mutual terms thingy

In other news great header from Harry Kane
'Seems that I was busy doing something close to nothing
But different than the day before'

'Met a dwarf that was no good, dressed like Little Red Riding Hood'

    'Now you're unemployed, all non-void
Walkin' round like you're Pretty Boy Floyd'

So the bloke has been sacked 9 months after managing a club of Leicester's resources to the Premier League title. They have come back down to earth this season, but have given a very creditable account of themselves in the Champions' League and have a very decent chance of making the last 8 at the first attempt.

Yet Wenger clings on to his job at a much bigger club 13 years since a Premier League title and having gone out of the Champions' League at the last 16 stage in each of the last 6 years (it will be 7 next week).

Football isn't worth a candle now.

    They are not comparable.

A league title then relegation is rank failure.

Top 4 and a couple of cups, while not success, is far from rank failure.

Had wenger won the league in the last ten years and then took us to the brink of relegation the following season, he'd have lost his job too.

It is wenger'a consisteny in keeping us ok the top 4 and winning a couple of cups that has kept him in his job.

Leicester just stayed up 2 yrs ago... if they had done the smae last season and been where they are now there is every chance he would have kept his job

AW still has a job as the board don't know how to fire or hire a manager and they are **** scared. They do seem happy to stay financially secure rather than win anything

And also because the bank insisted upon it, RE: the stadium loan arrangements.
"Plenty of strikers can score goals," he said, gesturing to the famous old stands casting shadows around us.

"But a lot have found it difficult wearing the number 9 shirt for The Arsenal."

Or to state it another way - it is the board's and the owner's focus on the club's finances while completely disregarding the importance of trophies to the club's fan base which has allowed Wenger to keep his job.
