Lawnwimb... when in the year do you first mow the lawn?

Mine is looking a little unkempt now so was wondering if I can do it in Feb or should wait a few weeks longer.

Obviously I will cut it high at the first time of asking but when?

Leave it as late as possible as once you cut the fúcking thing once you have to do it again every few weeks.

April is early enough, into May if you can get away with it.
