    Stuart Broad take a bow!!!!

    Awesome game....

Broad is so excited that he comes charging back for the second even though there is only one needed to win. But it's been that kind of a match.

    .

    19.6

Perera to Broad, 1 run, and a leading edge does it for the Hurricanes. Tries to work it through the leg side and ends up chipping it in the air, over mid-off who is inside the circle, which means that the ball lands safely
    .

So Hurricanes can't lose now. Field comes in.

    .

    19.5

Perera to Broad, FOUR, outside edge. What luck, or terrible luck, depending on who you are supporting. Slower ball, wide outisde off, Broad looks to slog and gets an outside edge to the third man boundary. It was a nothing half-volley outside off and deserved to be put away, one way or the other
    .

Backward square is deep now. Five needed off two

    .

    19.4

Perera to Broad, FOUR, oh, goodness. Maybe went for a yorker but ends up sending a half-volley on the pads and Broad whips it away through the square leg region and the ball beats the fielder chasing it
    .

    19.3

Perera to Broad, 2 runs, tries to slog and skies it and the ball lands in the deep midwicket region.
    .

    19.3

Perera to Broad, 3 wides, full toss, swings hard and misses. And the ball gets away from the wicketkeeper as well and they take the bye. The wicketkeeper fires a throw at the striker's end and a direct hit would have seen the back of the batsman. Instead, it misses and there is no one backing up, so they take another off the overthrow. So three runs and an extra ball
    .

Stuart Broad. 14 off four needed. He can certainly hit them a long way. Can he put his long limbs to good effect and do something special here?

    .

    19.2

Perera to Boyce, 1 run, OUT, full and wide outside off, gets a thick outside edge as he throws his arms at it. Narine dives to his left and gets his hand to it and takes the momentum off the ball. It rolls away slightly and they think of charging back for the second. Narine recovers well and fires a direct throw at the keeper's end. The batsman is short of his crease but it seems like the wicketkeeper's glove may have touched the stumps and Boyce has been asked to wait. The third umpire has had a long, hard look at it and decides that the keeper has done fine there

    CJ Boyce run out 1 (1b 0x4 0x6) SR: 100.00
    .

    19.1

Perera to Rainbird, 1 run, drags this attempted pull to short fine leg off the inside edge. Slower ball
    .

16 off six needed for Hurricanes and Perera to bowl the last over. But what a crucial blow from Narine

England medium pacer wins game for Aussie side (well, Tasmanian anyway). Meanwhile, England get stuffed by India A

Have you been following the BBL, t. Seems a very tight competition - anyone can beat anyone, no outstanding team

Yeah that's T20 for you....BB isn't that far off the IPL.

Surprised to see Perth at the top...they batted dreadfully yesterday but thankfully Brisbane were even worse.

Still think the Stars are favs to win this...KP showed tremendous maturity when he guided them to win it last year so wouldn't surprise me if he did it again.

Big game Saturday....Perth vs Stars so we'll see how good both sides really are.
