Sometimes maybe they are as not injured as they think.

for example I had been smoking like a chimney for years. I had convinced myself I couldn't run for 30 seconds.
day 2 in the gym I was doing a good 10 mins.

Yeah, but he will be once "Dr" GoD and his All-Ireland rugby mob have got hold of him
"Plenty of strikers can score goals," he said, gesturing to the famous old stands casting shadows around us.

"But a lot have found it difficult wearing the number 9 shirt for The Arsenal."

Not sure that's quite the same, tbh. Apparently, Sir C runs huge distances these days despite being almost permanently attached to a cigarette.

Well there are confusing types. like at 5-a-sides there are big blokes who are in the best shape.

There is big overweight bloke at the gym who can run like hell. it's confusing.

so far I am actually enjoying it. Though I had a theory that if you smoked and still worked out maybe you are stronger than others as your lungs have had to get tougher from the smoke.

This idea that smoking has any impact on health or fitness has surely been debunked in this enlightened age?

I caught a glimpse of the new blank packaging. Also I don't understand the governments thinking that stopping selling packs of 10 will stop people smoking. You'll buy 20 and smoke even more.

Right. He played about 700 games, I think. Scored 400 goals too.
