Not saying he's the best striker in the world or anything but goals, pace and Yorkshire grit, movement and grunt and pace and touch and pace and goals; what's not to like

You and I are going to have to agree to disagree on one or two things, red.

    Grunt, yes
    Pace, yes
    Goals, so far
    Movement, yes
    Touch, inconsistent
    Holds the ball up, unknown
"Scoring a goal is better than sex" - Whoever said that was sticking it to the wrong woman

If he signs for us, we'll all have to give him, and Wenger, the benefit of any doubt.
"Plenty of strikers can score goals," he said, gesturing to the famous old stands casting shadows around us.

"But a lot have found it difficult wearing the number 9 shirt for The Arsenal."

The summer taking a familiar turn. Only two questions remain.
    1. What will be Wenger's excuse after transfer deadline day?
    2. Where on earth will he take off to on transfer deadline day?

In fairness, we did get Xhaka early enough. For a decent chunk of money too.

Yeah, I mean we have one, in many ways harder, part of the jigsaw sorted. Vardy not coming isnt the end of the world. Certainly not this early on in the summer. It wouldve solved a problem, and saved us a few quid to boot, but we'll have to just use a bigger war chest.

    WAR CHEST!

Your mum is the harder part of the jigsaw, imo.

Premier League winning strikers have proved easier for us to sell, rather than buy, for quite some time now

He represented a bargain, not necessarily a striker that would win us the PL. Past performance is not an indicator of future performance and all that.

Relax, it's Arsene's last season. He's got the bit between his teeth this summer.

lol. Shirley you must be saying that because you doing want him?

There *is* no striker who would necessarily win us us the PL, is there, especially if we're not allowed look at past performances

We got one of our major targets very quickly and had a bid accepted for another one - can't legislate for his weird option to remain
We're hardly having a disastrous time - window isn't even open yet ffs
