As we all suspected, Vardy not coming..

I'm not sure how to take this one.
I certainly never thought I'd see the day when a player from Lester blew out the opportunity to join a club like Arsenal.
The real kick in the bollox would be for him to now go somewhere else.
The only other example would probably be Le Tissier staying put at Southampton.

    Onwards..

Well, I think you left out the fact that they won the Prem, and that Ranieri is a badass.

Well, he's not coming before the end of England's Euros, at any rate.

Wenger knows **** all, but He may've got that right.

    Patience.
"Plenty of strikers can score goals," he said, gesturing to the famous old stands casting shadows around us.

"But a lot have found it difficult wearing the number 9 shirt for The Arsenal."

Maybe he's also not too enamoured to sign for the specialist in failure
I read today the old dinosaurs on the board were considering offering him a new two year extension..
    You couldn't make it up.

I'd put it the other way about; if he was staying, he'd have said so from the off.

It makes sense to have everyone believe that, imo. Especially if we want to make loads of mahooosive signings

Hopefully, Arsenal are looking at other options regardless of whether Vardy is undecided on his move or not.

The one thing this might do is upset Wenger's summer plans. It is now clear to other clubs that we are in the market for a striker and this will make it harder for us to get our preferred options. It will probably end up with us having to spend more than we would have done, if Vardy choses to stay at Leicester. Don't forget, Wenger has been known to shy away from buying even if it does leave us short.

Even if he does join, I'm yet to be convinced that Vardy would be a success at Arsenal. Last season could have been a one off and he may have blown his load. Alternatively, he could have a couple of good seasons in him. One thing that is difficult to argue with, he doesn't appear suited to the way Arsenal play. This means that he either has to workout how to integrate better or, Arsenal need to change the way they play to accommodate him.

If I may respectfully disagree, Vardy would be perfect for us, imo.

Not saying he's the best striker in the world or anything but goals, pace and Yorkshire grit, movement and grunt and pace and touch and pace and goals; what's not to like
