Why would anyone want to cuddle someone who was dying? When my nan was on her way out, I could barely look at her without vomming.

Be honest, you were also worried she'd feel you up, weren't you?

A lot of people (myself included) choose to be absent during a loved one's final moments. This is very common and the dying party is nearly always unaware.

Nice to be able to say goodbye and then let the heathcare services sort everything out.

Oh no, the incestuous *****phile one was on my dad's side. She died peacefully in her sleep.

This was my maternal grandmother. She was stuck in hospital for months, getting smellier and more grotesque by the day. They even asked if I wanted to go in and see her AFTER she'd died. You can imagine my response.

I've done three dying cuddles. Two were rather nice. One was quite messy.

In short, one simply cannot generalise in this matter.

Yes, I've always thought of you as the cuddly sort.
"Plenty of strikers can score goals," he said, gesturing to the famous old stands casting shadows around us.

"But a lot have found it difficult wearing the number 9 shirt for The Arsenal."
