That's a shocker for the poor lad. Sure England can cope

Nice space for KP in the team - stop him going back to South Africa

More seriously would like to see James Vince find some early season form - would fit in well there

    f**k off stealing Hampshire players.

Agree though - lovely batsman to watch. Reminds me of a young MP Vaughan.

I've heard that comparison before - haven't seen a lot of him though

Actually they'll stick Ballance in there won't they. Couldn't remember who was the spare bat on the South Africa tour. Or bring back Bell

It will be Bell if he starts the season with some runs imho.

He can do short leg as well.

How much longer do you think Jimmy will stick around for? Not sure who the next in line for swing bowler would be. Willey, perhaps?

Sam Curran will be a fantastic bowler but won't be ready for another 2-3 years.

Both Currans look pretty decent. Think Anderson will carry on til the next Ashes

Just hope someone emerges in that time. James Harris at Middlesex is a good option but they seem to worry that he is bit short of pace

There are occasions when you don't need the extra pace when it's hooping about. But when it's flat

putting it down there at 80mph doesn't cut it.

Anderson is wise to this now and is always a couple of mph down when it's swinging. He's capable of getting it up above 85 when he wants, though - and that's what you need to trouble a test match quality batsman when there isn't any swing or movement off the pitch.

Alec Stewart said Sam Curran is the best young cricketer he has seen in his entire career.

I think Willey has the potential to be a very good bowler in all conditions

certainly has a bit of fire about him. Be interesting to see how he goes at Yorkshire this season
