Thread: Corbyn says there is a big black hole in the budget. He knows a lot about big black holes.

  1. #21

They still have to work, presumably. But it won't be alienated labor based on exploitation.

  2. #22

Middle-class boy from priviliged family trying very hard to be working class. Sound like anyone?

  3. #23

Them bourgeois ****s resent the working class these days though. All the calls of them being

    primitive, bigoted, etc.

I think you're off by a few decades. There's no "hard left" anymore.

  4. #24

Oh, he absolutely is. In his heart, he genuinely yearns for the dictatorship of the proletariat*

*ie him in charge and able to 're-educate' people who disagree.

  5. #25

    hehe It's true though.

  6. #26

"But it won't be alienated labor based on exploitation"? hehe How does that work, then?

"We need you to work in the tractor factory and double production every year."

"Ermmm. I don't really want to, though."

    "OK. Well...you have to."

    "What happens if I don't?"

"Siberia's nice this time of year...oh, hang on, no it's not. It's f**king horrible."

"So you're forcing me to do this?"

"Yes, but it's for the common good and so it's definitely not exploitation, OK?"

  7. #27

    hehe *I'm* refusing to answer

I'll have you know I was furthering my attempts to enter the realms of the bourgeoisie, with an agenda to smash and/or subvert the whole business, of course.

C'mon though, nobody could think that lovely, avuncular old JC is hard left though, could they?

  8. #28

But you still haven't explained why you refer to him as a democratic socialist.

We live in a democracy. Democracy is something of a given. Do you mean that the real 'hard left' isn't democratic?

  9. #29

Because that's a) what he is b) what he refers to himself as

and c) it's a very, very broadly accepted political term for someone who attempts to achieve a fairer society through investment in health, education and welfare via democratic control of a socialist system.

Obviously, yeah, to you they're all stalinist leninparts who will commit us to the urals for labour based reducation but then again to you David Cameron is also a ****o commie, so your opinion is taken with only the tiniest grain of salt.

  10. #30

You are all too entrenched in capitalist ideology, my friend. You'd very quickly find that you can

only truly attain self-consciousness, true freedom, and individuality through the collective, i.e. seeing yourself not as an atomized self-interested rational utilitarian nominalist whose every act and social relation is mediated by exchange value.

    Or something like that.
