harder rock, hills and valleys somore difficult route plus thames is in

glacial melt region Trent was under glacier..completley different kettle of fish finding way to sea from there than oxford imo

  2. #42

because thames basin has continual decline in bowl into one

logical outlet plus one main type of easily cuttable sedimentary soil/rock on top, lots of rivers if very flat floodplane/outlet plus bands of harder rock can go very meandery indeed ..hence my ultimate favourite...ox box lakes imo

I assume everybody turned up with a shedload of booze?

Perhaps even some of the softer recreational drugs the world has to offer.

    A somewhat crinkly arrow.

Yes, as Snin says, there is the whole 'Thames valley' thing going on and London is a bowl but the Thames is the longer river covering a comparable distance.

If the joined up the Nene and the Ouse we could be cut off from the north!

No, I’ve had at least one article in the last five Wembley programmes and have another in the

England vs Holland programme this month (interview with van der sar)

    "8 children under 4"

    Bed by 11 mate

    I’ve been there*

By which I mean a parent of kids under 4, not a huge grouping of parents in this situation.

Few beers for you, few glasses of wine for the ladies, a few in excess on night one as the mixture of nerves and being uncomfortable in each other’s company results in one doing the dog.

Having kids is not the absolute end of letting one’s hair down.

Will see after the game on Saturday, depending on his mood I'll ask
