Thread: Thoughts on yesterday

  1. #21

I dont get how Wilshere has suddenly become the messiah

He was barely getting a game when fit, and when he did he was stuck out on the right.

Mind you, it was a different game in those days. The ball was heavier, the kits were made from sackcloth and we played on open trenches dotted with landmines.

He's probably our best midfielder behind Cazorla though.

I don't know what Ramsey is at the minute.

Haven't you noticed the first team is blowing out of its arse, physically and mentally?

The Wilsher will be an extra, fresh pair of legs.

  4. #24

He has a nice burst according to Arsene. I think I understand.

    What about Mesut?

I refuse to count Wilshere as anything but a hospital bed right now. Part of the problem with him, and why he's missed the best part of four seasons of the six he's been here, is the stupid levels of expectation/responsibility/pressure heaped upon him in his absence.

I'd say the idea of Jack is a fantastic one, the reality is that he barely merits a squad number.

One fresh leg, one withered vestigial apendage imo

  7. #27

He's gone full Cluseau again, I see

  8. #28

Right. It's actually all Rosicky's fault.

In fairness, midfield is impossible to play when your forwards stop scoring.

    Doesn't matter who you are.

    Is that picture from "Hugo"?
