They were after all missing their best attacker, their next best attacker after him and their best central defender. They also had somebody called Jesse Lingaard and a player up top who was playing his second game ever, not sure about the other fella in defence as I had never heard of him before the game. They also brought on two other kids for I believe their debuts.
We were full strength with the exception of 1 player.
We are or were chasing the title, they are in the midst of a media perceived managerial crisis.
Early to bed then, not too early mind you.
One which severely tests the faith, as a feeble and tepid performance against a far weaker side results in defeat and (in this case very probable) exit from a tournament we should be able to win. See also: Blackburn in the FA Cup.
The worry is that however much the cast changes, the script remains the same.
