Thread: Souness was right

    Souness was right

As much as I hate him he was dead on .. These players have NO heart, No fight.

Walcott is a joke or he could have gone into acting.(He would have made a great invisible man). Why cant Wenger see him for what he is?? A timid little gerbil who would run down a hole rather than have any influence on a match, Or when he does have an Influence it is giving the ball away and watching the other team run up the field and score.(Chamberlin is really good at this also) Reminds me of Denilson who was a 5 star specialist in doing that. I am surprised one of his team mates hasnt put a foot up his ARSE.( but then again there is no one with that fire.)

Ramsey should be taking this team by the scuff of the neck and dragging them forward, but mostly runs around like a headless chicken. The only leaders this team has are Czech and the BFG,(leaving him out today was totally assanine.) He is miles above Gabreiel ( what he lacks in speed he more than makes up for in positioning and timing and leadership. Sadly Alexis is catching the Walcott disease and doing more and more disappearing acts. Ozil is probably trying to figure out how to get out of town, Kos and Belerin do try along with Monreal but more is needed. Giroud is a decent player who gives Arsenal a Aeriel presence and would be fine if the other slackers would do their part. Welbeck can and does do a good shift but again cant make those better around him. Its A Shame really , the league title was there for the taking this year but this group had neither the heart or the balls to grab it.

Sorry for the long rant but Im going back to my beer.

    Abject
    Gutless
    no balls
    heartless
    clueless

    And that's just Wenger.

It's quite incredible how losing to the worst Chelsea side in a decade and the worst Utd side in 3 decades can highlight just how awfully our club is being run (footballing wise, business wise its a goldmine)
We're are still in with a chance of the title but those who know, know just how far away we are.

I do not expect the valiant late run to appear until we have no real chance of winning anything but the FA cup. Because winning is easy when it doesnt matter, winning when it matters is something we no longer have the ability to do.

truth is Wenger is so hurt by failure he has redefined the parameters of success so that it doesn't include winning a title.

As a teacher, a professor a philosopher, a visionary and as a man Arsene Wenger has few equals in the game, perhaps even in life.

As a leader, a tactician, a driver and an inspiration to the players to perform and leave no regrets on the pitch he far too often abdicates his responsibilities to the group of young men he sends out on to the pitch.
That has worked in the past when the young men were hardened winners or just simply incredibley good at their job.
But with many teams he has put together it simply is not enough.
