Dave Snooty's pissing in the wind with this one, isn't he ?

I can't see anyway he can put a referendum to the public and have a hope in hell of us staying in.

It's almost as if they want us out of the EU, isnt it?

Cock up, conspiracy or just a spectacular mixture of the two you know it's going to happen.

  3. #3

I can't help feeling that if they wanted us out of the EU they'd be arguing the case for getting out

rather than trying to find reasons for staying in.

  4. #4

Like half the cabinet are, you mean?

  5. #5

Does the Bosman rule still apply if we pull out of the EU? Rub chin

  6. #6

Which presumably means half the cabinet aren't, doesn't it? The good thing about this

is it really doesn't split along party lines - in fact it seems to split the two main parties in half. Good opportunity for people with a common cause to get together with others with whom they may differ significantly on much, and show the strength of their feeling. God forbid, people use it to score cheap political points... oh

Well no, I'd imagine you'll see a majority drift over to the leave side of things in time

Also, please point out where I'm scoring cheapo political points on this.

  8. #8

Nono What usually happens is undecided voters decide to stay with what they know

rather than the risk of leaving and what that might bring

This of course assumes that the yes side don't feck it up big time
