Someone on Linkedin has just added the skill "Twitter" to their profile

f**k me, I mean, that's basically like putting "email" as a skill on your CV

Quite a good way to signal the message

"do not touch this candidate with a bargepole".

Actually, I’ve come to the conclusion that, for all its flaws, Twitter is the only decent social

media platform and that is not used almost exclusively to feed its users’ narcissism.

Basically, you can tell a lot from someone whose main use of social media is Twitter and it's normally positive.

"Arsenal fans react on Twitter to Piers Morgan's reaction on Twitter to Mesut Ozil's

reaction on Twitter to ..." etc.

Yes but you can be sure that the cretins who lap that kind of **** up are also regulars on facebook,

    etc.

    So you missed my point.

  6. #6

I didn't miss your point. I just chose to make a different one.

    What was your point exactly?

  7. #7

Surely what you are reacting to there is the reporting on Twitter

    rather than Twitter itself

  8. #8

Arent you confusing clickbait with a totally separate medium here though?

  9. #9

I make you right here, it's very much a window into a person's mind

I find, for instance, that if you've tweeted Barney Ronay a lot then you might be emotionally needy

f**k off! He was being a nob, I told him, and he snapped back. And I definitely won

    I can’t prove it, but I did
