    I purchased a deep fat fryer on a whim.

    excellent machine.

    Apart from doing chicken and chips what else can I deep fry?

    Maybe a trip to Glasgow to find out will be worthwhile.

    Findus Crispy Pancakes. I used to use a deep fat fryer at uni and id these with chips Eat

    wouldn't do that now though.

    Chicken and mushroom. The beef and onion ones smelled like a tramp's pants and the cheese ones were

    Does it stink the place out and cover every surface in a film of grease?

    Such is my recollection of said contraptions. They may have improved over the intervening decades, tbf.

    It's not bad actually. Though the oil is new a bit of smell but much less than

    if I fried something in the pan.

    And the stuff doesn't come out oily.
