Arsene will be remembered as our best ever manager but maybe he will be John the Baptist? If the Kronke regime is replaced by a more ambitious owner(s) Wenger might be seen as a successful manager whose best legacy was the set-up he left behind.
By supporters he will be remembered, or seen by those who follow after his reign, as a very good manager who delivered tangible success.
In time ‘achievements’ such as continued top 4 finishes and subsequent European qualification during the period of relative financial drought will be viewed largely as an irrelevance.
I would say the above is fair as per your original question.
Which will be a shame because he's done ****loads more than that.
But not half as much as that achievement deserves.
The stadium to be fair was more a massive achievement by the board. Not just him.
