IWWW was uncharacteristically unequivocal about Ollie on 5 live just now.* He called him a

"feckin big useless, dribblin wet french fanny" and went on to say "I could've buried those chances with my bell-end!"

*might not have used these words exactly but it's what he meant.

I can't quite believe the amout of stick giroud gets. Its ridiculous

  3. #3

Quite. The problem today wasn't Giroud. The players missing and/or tiredness meant there was very

little support going forward, he won a number of balls in the air but there was no-one picking up the second ball.

It almost feels as though we are blaming him for not being a world class striker

Hardly his fault we cant find anyone better. I actually thought he did well today and was a little unlucky with the two chances he missed.

Overall it was a poor performance from the first minute. Our shape was wrong and too many players were making bad decisions and failing to read the game. Tiredness, both mental and physical.

You cant expect the same eleven players to play twice a week with f**k all on the bench and a heavily weakened right flank. It is just too much to ask.

Given all of that, very grateful to get a point but it does show why we wont win the league. We just create too many problems for ourselves.

Unlucky with the two chances hehe

Hit the crossbar and forced the keeper to make a good save. Nothing to be ashamed of.

  7. #7

He did well to even reach the one that hit the bar.. And the other one was inches wide

On a luckier day both go in, we win 2-1 and the people who hate him keep very quiet.

There was some piss poor peformances today but its always giroud that gets the stick. Sometimes he is useless but he wasnt today.

Lucidity to our thinking reinforces our belief in winning the league this season, especially once

Bellerin, Walcott, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Ramsey, Wilshere and Welbeck return from injury.

There is simply no escaping the fact that we will fight all the way to the end this year

For all the stick he gets, he's still scored in 5 of our last 6 games Shrug
