I'm not sure how I feel about Sunday's game. A win would feel more hollow than it should

against them lot, a draw will probably suit both teams and a defeat will be annoying but will still leave us in a strong position to finish 2nd or 3rd.

Of course, the important thing is that we boo Premier League Champion-elect Cesc Fabregas and let him know just what we think of him. Grrrrrrr.

    Will he be booed?

We turned him down, not vice versa.

I should very much hope so.

I'd prefer his every touch were greeted with an eerie silence, but that's more difficult to orchestrate.

Maybe everyone should hiss like a snake.

    not at the Emirates

  6. #6

Exactly. It would remind him of the good old days, make him emotional and put him off.

    Blimey

A brief and far from unanimous boo upon his first touch, then forgotten.

Did he not come back and play against us for Barcelona??

    Barcelona's different. Chelsea, ffs! Frown

I appreciate that but not his fault.

What was he to do, sign on the dole?

We turned him down, not the other way round. If his snake-like departure of the club rankled so much then no f**ker would have wanted him back but many many did.

Thierry came on against us for Barca and was apparently 'ironically' booed

Like our fans are capable of an emotional reaction as nuanced as irony
