Thread: I'm now thinking of cooking a mixed grill for dinner. Is this madness? Rub chin

You need to have something to stop it all looking shades of grey and brown, sw.

You don't have to eat it

  2. #12

I'm now thinking that so do I.

  3. #13

The touch of spice from the cinnamon and star anise were perfect with the bacon.

Have you been to Foxlow in Clerkenwell, part of the Hawksmoor group?

  5. #15

    Nope.

Have you been to Smoking Goat yet? HOW MANY TIMES MUST I TELL YOU?

  6. #16

No. Call me weird but when I travel to a restaurant, I quite like to know

whether I'm actually going to be able to sit down at a table and eat.

Get with the times, grandad. You can queue in the street with a bottle of craft ale in your hand

and chat to guys with beards and lumberjack shirts.

I've been at lunchtime and in the early evening and sat straight down both times.

I do have to agree with you here. Who needs the stress of not knowing?

It shows a rank disregard for your customers' comfort and ease if you ask me.

  9. #19

I will wager my Indian was better.

Perhaps not so much in keeping with the day itself but damned tasty.

  10. #20

Yes, but what of the stress of travelling in uncertainty? That would ruin the whole evening for me.
