Early exits from the CL and gate receipts far below ours, I'd have thought.
TV money ? - Should be about even.
Sponsorships & Commercials - Rather large black hole.
And rightly so.
As you must have seen, some of their sponsorship last season was deemed 'bad' and so wasn't counted towards FFP.
As a result, they failed, got a 49m EUR fine and had their CL squad size restricted by 4 for this season.
If it was as easy as getting an owner to sponsor 1bn then it would be done by both Chelsea and City.
twelve years ago, it's quite some achievement.
Had it been, then it would have taken a lot longer. Oh well - at least we beat them.
