    There was a good article about this in Arseblog (well, linked from there)

    basically said the attackers from this yr are on course to score about 20 more goals than the strikers from 2006

    Champions League apart we were shocking that year

    I mean Spurs very nearly finished above us ffs Can't see that happening now

    I see he is quoted as saying the current is potentially the best ever.

    "When we go and achieve a little bit more than winning the FA Cup, then I think we can stand up and say this is the best attacking line up we've ever had."


    Not withstanding the folly of comparing teams and players from different eras that is some comment based on that line up from back when we were good.

    To recap (I have not read any articles) Walcott reckons that the strikers of today are better than

    the 2006 vintage?

    Probably not a lot in it either way?
