Thread: is Wengers 4th place prizes really that much of a success

  1. #11

    Oh look, it's Fellaini-boy.

    Welcome back.

  2. #12

I never said he didn't make mistakes along the way Shrug

  3. #13

    I'd take a ******* like Fellaini in a heartbeat.

The team is starved of guts and a mentality that the type of player Fellaini would bring.

  4. #14

Let's bring in Barton and Nolan too

  5. #15

He was too **** to get into a **** Man Utd side last year.

And they're still a bit ****, but just very lucky at the moment.

  6. #16

You have thrown out this graph as a red-derring a few times now.

The 'mistakes'/shortcomings are obvious to most and are repeated season after season. Our financial position over the years should have no baring on our poor tactical nous, our man management/motivation, defensive howlers and lack of balance. We had the cash to alleviate personnel over the years but the manager failed to add properly and add personnel and tactical balance.

  7. #17

Nah, Arteta and Flamini will do instead Roll eyes

See, any rational discussion is met with sarcasm, hostility and ire.

  8. #18

We are talking about the past decade, i.e. before we had anything to spend. Suspend for a moment

your disappointment in what is the state of the current squad, and see what the man did over those 10 years where we had our stadium built and operated on a very limited budget.

  9. #19

Surely your Fellaini comment was sarcastic as well, no?

  10. #20

He had his fair share of injuries last season. He has improved significantly this season.

And is arguably better than any of our CMs. Adds that ******* and a bit of that balance that we haven't had for a bit.
