Thread: hehe One for SW, I think

  1. #21

Specifically Parliament Hill Mansions, very nice, ex used to live there

  2. #22

There was an article in the Sunday Times at the weekend

on the gentrification of Kentish Town, or specifically a street therein where one of your prominent politicians now resides. One of the Milliband pair.

  3. #23

Well, as someone who's success is predicated on bull**** alone, I think you've been rude enough

  4. #24

Ed Miliband lives behind me in Dartmouth Park.

That sometimes gets called Kentish Town because no-one knows where Dartmouth Park is.

  5. #25

I thought he lived in PH?

I've seen him there a couple of times.

  6. #26

    That's the one.

Couldn't think of the exact road / area.

Fair bit on the recent history of the area, right up your street, as such.

  7. #27

Ralph had owned something there, from way back, and Ed had lived there.

  8. #28

Perhaps I should subscribe to the Times, so I can see it.

It would be quite wrong for someone to PM me a cut&paste of the article. I can't approve of that sort of thing.

  9. #29

Ah those. Yes, very tasty. There's even a petanque court on the path up to the heath, which would be

    handy for you.

Presumably you can get something similar in Bradford though, and for a more reasonable price.

I hadn't heard of that. It's a shame they bulldozed most of West Kentish Town

in the 60s and put the big estates in. Rennovation for social housing was unheard of in those days. It could have been beautiful now, like the tiny Gospel Oak Village is.
