Has anyone actually investigated what our deal with Beveren aka Ivory Coast FC was or has that been swept under the carpet?
Fifa did investigate it but cleared Arsenal of doing anything wrong.
we would take advantage of the Belgian immigration laws by placing young african footballers at Beveren, they would then move to Arsenal when they were eligible to get a work permit and were good enough to add something to the squad, it was ultimately fruitless though, as the best player we placed there went elsewhere because he wasnt eligible for a work permit before other teams came sniffing.
