Thread: Anyway, we played well at the weekend, I thought.

    Still,one point off the top

And look at the teams where City and Chelsea dropped points. There's a lot made of this "results against the top 4" that simply just isn't THAT important

  2. #12

I don't mind us being flat track bullies if we win the league that way.

    And nor do you.

  3. #13

Yes, it was as though he'd taken the lead out of his boots.

  4. #14

If we did win all (or virtually all) of our remaining 'easy' games,

I wonder what kind of points total we'd need from Everton, Spurs, Chelsea and Citeh to win the league.

Could we conceivably not win any of them and still do it?

  5. #15

Fair point. If I was a Sunderland fan I wouldn't be too happy with them

playing in first gear in an important league game. It's only the **** cup final.
I suppose that's easy for an Arsenal fan to say

  6. #16

Potentially yes.As long as we didn't lose

  7. #17

Subtract 80 from whatever you think is needed to win it, then distribute them over those big games.

I trust modd's mathematics, if not his spelling.

  8. #18

Two points from those four, and winning all our remainders would give us 79 points.

  9. #19

Presumably he denied scoring both goals too

  10. #20

    Oh.
