even though the engines are actually built by Ilmor in Northants. Merc bought up the ex Brawn/Honda/BAR/Tyrrell team to be the 'works' Mercedes team but they might bugger off out of the sport at any time, as all manufacturers do.

Lewis is taking a big gamble on the 2014 engine regs that might favour Mercedes.

They'll want the WCC, certainly. Actually I think it would be great if they won every race and watch him head off to take his chances in a midfield car.
