Win or lose, there's always an element of buffoonery in there
All the cup finals are usually like that. I can't think of any in recent times where
one team completely dominated the whole game and made it easy.
Maybe United v Millwall
Shouldn't there have been a red card for a Saints player very early doors?
I had money on a Henry hattrick and thought I was quids in at that point...
On the other hand, we did in well in Paris to make an already hard task really f**king difficult.
Of course. I am getting forgetful.
Southampton one should have been even less stressful if Henry
had actually gone to ground in 1st 5 minutes when he was held back as he went clean through
You bet on Tel to score in a cup final?
I was actually at that Final, went with a Miwwoww mate. It was incredibly one-sided. Then, when
I was at the Millenium the season after for our game against the Mancs and he sent me a text at half-time saying our game was even more one-sided (in favour of the mancs), I realized I must be pissed beyond repair, as at the time I thought we were doing rather well.
I am getting all mixed up. Maybe Freddy got taken out by someone really early on
keeper or something.
I am getting it all confused.
