Any quotes from the manager about how utterly pig shit piss poor we were tonight?
or were we unlucky
We did our best bro and that's all we can ask for so let's get behind the team they did well
Bad luck and lack of concentration, apparently
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger: "It is still possible of course to qualify but it is difficult to swallow losing a game like that. We lost it on a lack of defensive concentration and bad luck. They had four shots on goal and we conceded three goals.
"The turning point at 2-2 is we give them a goal again straight away. If it stays 2-2 for five minutes we win the game.
"A goalkeeper can make a mistake that doesn't explain that we lose the game. It happened to Petr Cech already this season"

Bad luck? What does Wenger do.....study astrology?
Just replay what the SFC said after the Anderlecht and Monaco games....
Same old lame excuses...just like the lame defending of this team....
Nevermind eh? GBP200M in the bank Wooohooo! :cloud9:
A lot of bad luck when you concede three goals at home against an average team.
The level of teams in the CL is going up. Sadly Arsenal aren't going with it
Teams like Olympiakos used to get blown away with a good 20 min spell. They look far more orgainsed now. Monaco were better than us, and even Anderlecht had enough to mount a comeback. We continue to look unprepared in these games. Both tactically and mentally. We're so predictable at this level, and teams are working us out and taking results off us.
Nobody expects Arsenal to win the CL. But the way we're approaching games in this competition is becoming more and more ridiculous.
Arsenal and Wenger
tactics or lack of have been sussed...defend deep and catch on counter >>
attack....our defence is :strood: too so makes it easier for the opposition to carve us up and make clinical chances......
