Yes, fan base is a determining factor in wages, since revenues pay said wages. But sports has a celebrity, winner-takes-all wage structure, so if you're the best team, if you trigger the highest wages, you should be compensated.

De boat wants it both ways: he wants women to be paid sh!t, and he wants them not to get the high-end marquis payments when they're the alphas of the foodchain.

Agreed, I also think it's a disgrace that a two bob extra in Eastenders isn't on equal pay with Bob De Niro
