Yes, like most racist terminology, it was probably invented by white people in left wing town halls but apparently the dreadlock on whitey is a major source of offence to the touchy feely lot.
It's just a pity that those women from sub Saharan Africa, who make an income from braiding young white teeny girls, during their med hols, since the dawn of time, just weren't aware of all this.
