I always imagined Wenger and his wife as a kind of Frank and Claire Underwood type partnership

an impenetrable bond based on an understanding that whatever deviancy they may get up to (pushing journalists in front of trains to help climb the presidential ladder / hogging the TV every evening to watch Albanian fifth division matches) they would remain united for the sake of their individual ambitions and desires.

I actually half-expected this to happen, such was the sexual tension between them throughout.

Her being the voice of Leela in Futurama didnt hurt either.

I feel silly now. I used to love that programme and well fancied her in it.
