Would the transfer window be better

if there was an actual window at FA HQ?

just as it closes you could get representatives from teams trying to push their forms through the gap like those losers did on the Crystal maze trying to push some extra tokens in the box after the whistle.

Yes. But it would have to be the managers themselves. And the window could have a razor sharp edge, so anyone who was late with their forms would risk losing their finger. This could be televised and would be most amusing.

Harry Redknapp would have no fingers at all by now.
