Thought -- stay with me here -- Cyborg vs Holm last night was a lesson for us.

We're always going to be like Holm. Holm did well. She went the distance, she showed spirit. But she climbed in weight class, could not hurt Cyborg with her fists. Her only chance were her kicks. Maybe on the floor but she wasn't prepared to try it. She did enough to earn respect but she never was going to win.

Similarly, Arsenal always show in their brand new patent-leather shoes, hair carefully parted. They do enough to merit a certificate of participation. They never have enough really to go up against the incumbents. Just not in it.

MMA is a good sport. Especially for the ladies.
