Apparently it is a fundamental human right to be able to have a drink, whenever you want it, and drink it independently.
Now, I dont think that actually is a fundamental human right but even if it was, can't they bring their own bloody straw?
If I was heading out for a coffee and couldnt drink without a straw it might just possibly occur to me to have a straw that I take with me.
Or is it simply a case of **** the planet because a very small group of people will be slightly inconvenienced?
