and I also liked his England boss character.
Never funny. Never made a decent film. A deeply unappealing screen presence and yet millions of people have paid to see his films, making him wealthier than God. Genuinely astonishing. :shakehead:
you'll be saying how great he was in The History Boys next
...it was ****.
and Joanna Page
As someone who used to watch them regularly i now think "what the f**k was i doing". Time away from them opens your eyes. When i visited my family over the summer and Eastenders or Emmerdale was on i felt like sticking my head in the oven.
People must get into a routine of watching them and then don't know how to fill the void, which is weird given how much choice there is now.
Ftr only yesterday I sat back and took in some Miles Davis as the afternoon sun shone.
Nice.
You're right, the only decent thing he's been in is The Wedding Singer, and even then I suspect that my feelings towards it are coloured by Drew Barrymore
Mind you, there was that period in the 1990s when every c**t and his wife was doing tedious jazz fusion like Galliano and that one with the bird who looked like she'd been chasing parked cars. That was f**king ****.
I hate Russell Kane
"Cliff Richard and Paul Gambaccini are just three innocent people"

I change out of my sunday best after the mass.
I mean, seeing as you're reinventing yourself as a leftwing firebrand now.
In moderation, obviously.
Used to enjoy that as a means of coming back down before work.
Tell us what you think is, or was, great about the Labour Party
One of Monty's locals, as it goes.
