The way he carries on like he's giving some world class speech.
And exaggerates everything. This has been going on for 10 years - 15 years!
15 years I don't think so.

I have fond memories of the day he was sent off at Highbury for throwing a coin at the crowd.
I think what he meant (can't be sure because I need subtitles with him) is that the complacency set in 10-15 years ago.
He is right...to be fair....it is on record that Wenger spoke to Ashley and told him if he wanted to join Chelsea then he should. Stuff like this is where we went wrong. It sent into motion stuff like losing Van Persie to United...losing half our team to City....not activating the buy back clause with Fabregas.
Then you have the Birmingham Carling cup defeat...that was as bad as what we saw last night...same sh@t...no worries tactics, no heart, no desire and a shambolic lapse in concentration to hand the cup to them.
did someone just say Mike Riley?

I'm guessing that's the 50th game lowlights at OT.
If so, there is an additional villain in this play. They used to show highlights of that game on Sky and I'm pretty sure Robbie Earle was doing the commentary. As Ferdinand hacks down Freddie as he's about to go through on goal Robbie says something like 'nope, not for me, he was looking for it there'. :yikes:
I almost put my fist through the screen when I heard it. And I then developed a strange compulsion to watch it every time it came on, up until that point. I'm a masochist :-(
