Presumably British Airways straightened up and flew right
-
They didn't. They want 3.5k each for flights to Bangkok in April. Bastards.
-
And they're supposed to be starting a direct service to Vic Falls but won't admit when.
I'm going to cut up my gold ard and send it back to them.
-
Would it be an act of treachery to suggest going with another airline?
-
We might be on the same flight, Sir C. I fly on the 12th April.
-
You get spaghetti on your blazer for flying a little Cessna?
-
Means going via Harare or Nairobi or, God forbid, Dubai.
I want to go to Vic Falls, j, not on a tour of ****ty third world transit lounges.
-
Probably for the best. You'd only get a filthy disease
-
Brilliant.
I will be there before that, to celebrate my birthday on 3rd.
-
You both spend a lot of time there eh :peedos:
-
How's the weather in mid to late April? I've heard mixed reports.
The hottest time of the year, I understand.
In Chaing Mai I think it will be unbearable - I've seen that you're looking at 40-45c (in the north east) every day with high humidity.
-
Well I guess for some people travelling is more about the destination
I'm all about the journey, maaaaaaaan
-
I don't really understand why I'd want to dismantle the cabin, to be honest.
-
Hot. Hot as a fox ion a forest fire
-
But what of the rains? May is the start of the monsoon, isn't it?
-
To get to all the filth, obviously
-
My girlfriends brother and his bird have just embarked on a 130 day tour of
australia/new zealand/asia and it's taking them 38 hours to get to New Zealand :hehe:
They left here yesterday morning, flew to heathrow, then from heathrow to Hong Kong, then from Hong Kong to Auckland. I'm not sure i could be f**ked with all that tbh. When will we get direct flights Sir C?
-
when i went in April it was as hot and wet as your mums c**t imo
when she's licking my swollen purple bell end
-
Afternoon downpours/storms or just drizzle all day?
-
It's the start of the lighter monsoon season in theory, but over the past couple of years
monsoons have been so f**ked up it's really hard to say.
The rains in May and June are nothing like as heavy as August / September, anyway. You'll just get a shower in the afternoon, if anything.
-
humid..damn humid.. moist..sweaty...as your dads bum crack when you
are licking it imo ..sun poked through around lunch for few hours..like your sisters nipples poking out of her bra
-
Perfect time to go and grab a beer under shelter.
-
Christ, that does sound like a schlepp.
I've been getting off an aircraft at Singapore or Hong Kong and looked back at the poor *******s still sitting there with another 12 hours to do...
I can't think of a single reason to go to Australia or New Zealand, to be honest.
-
and pop your rent boy on the balcony so the rain washes your gism off him
-
f**k that. I'm chugging down a decent quantity of booze, putting the seat flat,
and going to sleep for 8 hours.
-
Where are you staying in BKK?
-
We weren't originally planning on staying in BKK at all but several told us we must.
So doing two nights in the Mandarin Oriental to refresh after the long journey. Do you know of it?
-
I believe he's heard of it, yes.
-
Mention my name and they may upgrade you to my usual suite.
The Le Carre suite.
If you're interested I have a traditional first morning walking programme which may please you.
-
Let me know all the details.
Sadly I've only booked in for the standard fare - so I don't see them willingly offering me a suite.

The GM is Amanda Hyndman. She always looks after us personally.
I could email her on your behalf.
