Six weeks until the new season and still no new signings - but lots of departures.
-
5 days to Le Tour
-
Kittel and Cav both 5/2 now
-
only really Sagna and Fabianski who need replacing though
-
6 days until it goes past our street
-
And Bendtner, realistically.
-
Re: 6 days until it goes past our street
-
Campbell covers that
-
Re: Six weeks until the new season and still no new signings - but lots of departures.
and our "rivals" already made some quality signings. Although I say rivals but really what I meant was clubs challenging for top three place while in reality our ambition is to be fourth so I guess our real rivals are those clubs in fifth, sixth, seventh.
Soon we will hear that diaby and walcott are back fit and are just like new signings
-
-
True, still not sure he'll be a success at Arsenal. Hopefully I am wrong.
-
I don't think "being a success" and covering Bendtner's absence are that closely correlated , r
-
Schneiderlin and Sanchez will be signed before we go on tour.
-
Who is Schneiderlin and is he any good?
-
Southampton and France midfielder, he's good, an improvement on Arteta
-
is that itelefoot place still the main sauce, bgm?
I have seen quite a few places saying we are Sanchez's preferred option if he has to leave, which I suppose is encouraging.
-
Old season hasn't finished yet
-
Bendtner has scored the winner in a NLD and against Chelsea, B. That consitutes success for me.
-
Starting to come around to the idea of Sanchez. But will Barca let him go without having Suarez?
Also, MS - don't know much about him but I guess he'd be an Arteta replacement? I think I'd still like a Bender/Khaderia type in there.
Add Remy to that, a new right back and a new reserve goalkeeper and I'll be satisfied.
-
Bilbao want to buy Arteta for £3 million. I'd sell him.
-
And Camden on Twitter who seems to think he's ours.
-
Cheers
Never seen him play, although I watched the Arse Soton match earlier this season. Schneiderlin doesn't sound very French btw. Wenger's Alsacian friend?
-
Looks like it's the Mexican lad in goal and Joey up front...£100m saved
Maybe a cheeky bid for Phil Jones if were lucky....Gunnersaurus can use some back up this season.
-
He's quite good from what I remember
-
Same. Money for old rope, so to speak. Plus we have Coqulein who can fill in there if needed.
Vidal will also join on deadline day.
-
They want Suarez. If Sanchez doesn't want to go to Liverpool as part of
The deal they will sell him to be able to pay the £70-£80m for Suarez.
-
I don't remember the Chelsea won, r
-
Why aren't City after him? The fact that they've been very quiet so far leads me to believe that FFP
has started to c**t them over a leetle.
-
Not a word. He seems to have stopped leaking stuff. Even team/injury news.
-
here it is

Made a mug out of Essien.
-
pity, although I suppose you can't blame him
every time I looked he had a load of abuse from a bunch of tw*ts, most of whom failed to comprehend the difference between bidding for a player and actually signing them.
-
Arsene must have found out who he was and had him silenced.
-
Think what Ben said is closer to the truth. He would get terrible abuse from
-
ah yes, I was there
we got absolutely battered, think it was 4-1 (may have been 5 I've erased it from my memory).
I interpreted it as a winner against Chelsea, you can see why I was struggling :hehe:
-
Thought he was German
-
Still never explained how Chelsea's spending has been curbed by ffp. The fact that City have offered a reserve right back 130 grand a week doesn't really suggest they are being tight

Even you, the most FFP sceptic have to agree that City's spending has come down dramatically this
summer when compared to previous years.
Even Chelsea have re-couped millions in cash for Luiz.
-
Would be good to see more of Roic Lemy tonight....see his link up play with Giroud....
-
This summer still has several weeks left. There's also a logic that suggests that they will sign
fewer players, having won the thing last season, non ?
A couple at most, I'd have thought..
Expect Manure and Chelsea to be the main players
-
um - the summer isn't over yet
and you might want to think twice about using David Luiz as an example of how ffp works given that he went to PSG
