Philippe Senderos

Andrew Mangan's interview with him on the Arsecast is well worth a listen imo.

Phil comes over as an intelligent and thoughtful man. It would be a great shame if he were to recieve any abuse from Arsenal fans for the way he looked. :-(

I went to a Wigan away game, years ago, Senderos kicked Emile Heskey out of the game and was excellent all game.

I suppose he had to do it once; even a stopped clock and all that...

If you go down Dowgate Hill next to Cannon Street then keep going down to the Thames you will be walking on the route of the lost river Walbrook. was at his home champions league debut against Bayern no less.

Finished nil-nil but Bayern were already leading from the 1st leg so didn’t apply max pressure and he had good ol Tony Adams next to him.

Still though it made you think he could be a top player for us.

Guess I was fooled by how good TA really was...top class.

I was at both the Bernabéu and San Siro when we won and he was ace. Shame he got a serious injury just as he joined us. Set him back a bit

I know someone who has met Dennis many times. He is apparently wonderfully polite, articulate, humble and as well mannered as a Dutchman could ever be. As nice a man as you can hope to meet.
