...and leader of the notoriously unsuccessful 2016 Leave campaing. :hehe:
As I've pointed out for years, whatever you think about him, the one thing you have to admit about Boris is that he wins elections.
I think this is where the defection of yer Bergers and yer Umunnas to the Lib Dems has helped too. Given their stance on Corbyn, I'm fairly sure they would only have countenanced joining the LDs with an explicit assurance that the LDs wouldn't endorse Corbyn either in a Government of National Unity or as any kind of coalition partner.
Of course what this also means is that despite their entire shtick being about stopping Brexit, their anti-Corbyn policy is very likely going to enable Brexit by splitting the remain vote.
And millions wanting to stop Brexit will still vote for them. Thick c*nts.
I do find it funny the way nobody has called out just how cynical the LDs and SNP were in agreeing to this election (and thus effectively hanging Labour out to dry). After all, their best chance of stopping Brexit was keeping an impotent government in power and playing the waiting game.
Instead, for their respective, entirely party-political reasons (LDs seeing an advantage and SNP wanting to have an election before everyone finds out just how much Wee Jimmy Krankie knew about Salmond's nasty sexcapades), they basically abandoned their precious goal of remaining. Really outrageous cynicism, but nobody says anything, preferring to talk about Boris putting party before country. Amazing stuff.
That was my point, really. It's palpably obvious from their actions that the Lib Dems would take Brexit happening if it meant winning a bunch more seats. In fact they are in a sense relying on it, because to win a bunch more seats they need Labour to lose votes to the Tories and Brexit Party.
That should, in a sane world, make them utterly contemptible in the eyes of the electorate. But not a word is said.
SNP see the chance to win every seat in Scotland thus paving their way to secede. Of course there's nothing odd about UK leaving the EU being the most appalling thing ever but Scotland leaving the UK being the best thing ever. And good luck with independent, Scottish socialism in the EU.
Are the allegations against Salmond proven btw, or just another tedious political smear?
hmmmmmm.
The Jocks don't want to be part of 'The Union' but do want to be part of The European Union...
is that because they think they might get ****** FREE MONEY ****** (Not like they don't get it now...), I wonder.
Or is it that WJK is a power hungry goblin? :rubchin:
Most people I speak to would happily fúck Scotland out of the UK window.
 If I were someone tasked with damage limitation for the Labour Party, I'd be going ball(s) out with the attack line against the Lib Dems that they've betrayed remainers by voting for a Brexit election. But as usual, they're too blinded by hatred for the tories to think of that. By the time they do decide to go after old Toothytits, it'll be too late. Thick ****s.
