I watched Elf on Saturday.

It remains a fine movie, but there are problematic moments, not least of which is Zooey Deschanel being sexually assaulted by Buddy's presence in the bathroom as she showers.

Undoubtedly attractive, but the whole ‘Pixie Dream Girl’ schtick so beloved of hipster types was never really my thing.
