I have just come back from the Labour Party meeting where we had to vote for Corbyn or Smith so Hackney CLP could send our views.

I don't ever bet*, but I just googled and Jezza is 1.2 in the odds. I think this means that if you bet £5, you win £1.

Basically, the place was full of Momentum types and they were selling the Socialist Worker outside.

Jezza won by approx 62% - 38%.

So he's nailed one. As I said, free money.

Might place a £100 bet - especially if I can get one of those offers where you get free money or bets for starting an account. {BettingWimb - who should I use?}

I mean, at least I'll have £20 to console myself that my fellow lefty ****wits have voted for permanent Tory one-party rule.

Put it this way - I was the first speaker of the night (you get a whole 60 secs) cos when they ask people to put their hands up if they wanted to speak on behalf of Owen Smith, everyone else was so intimidated. It was only when I eventually raised my hand that others followed suit.

So he's nailed on and it's free money.


*Not entirely true. I would bet at the ground. 5 £1 bets on last scorer/final score combo. Biggest win was £66 when Titi scored the winner in a 3-2 vs Newcastle. Even Nicky Bendtner won we a pony. But I've never used these type of odds.
