View Full Version : Ramsey has looked so very classy in this tournament so far. Much more like the youngster we saw

before his horrific injury.

Here's to hoping that he's getting back to what we know he can do and can push on to become a first choice player in our central midfield.

with Diaby fit, Diaby will always start ahead of Ramsey.

Good enough for squad rotation tho.

Nothing special and will never be a regular starter. He will sign for Aston Villa in 2 years time for an undisclosed fee.

that deeper role and he was utterly superb at it.

Not his fault that he was assaulted and we're lucky to have him playing still at all.

he will be first choice if he continues to develop.

Assists and goals. He has everything.

Cesc was slower than Ramsey.

confidence and thats when he started taking 500 touches. I've always felt the lad has the potential to be the next Lampard. Just a shame he couldn't do it last season because that was a golden opportunity for him.

don;t think he is good enough to play Wenger ball, too many touches , will make it elsewhere, agree Cesc was one paceed but diff class to Ramsey

issue with regard to his injury. Of course he doesn't experience pain with it any more.

But if you've had your leg and ankle snapped, I think you can be forgiven for being a little apprehensive about playing again.

And many players don't have pace. Van Persie isn't fast, Arteta isn't fast, Wilshere isn't fast. Just depends what type of player you are.

which brings me onto a point I've been wanting to make for some time...but I wonder if Wenger's Creating Powder trick is now consigned to the dark ages with the rest of the world embracing newer and powerful legal products.

Not being funny but back in 1996 taking a couple scoops of Creatine poweder with your morning OJ worked...in 2012 you can use Olympic tested products that are really just legal steriods....some of the stuff I see is just insane and should never be allowed imo but its 100% legal.

He was also famous for giving his players Caffiene pills before games....well I hope he's not still doing that...I recently used a legal caffiene sports shot used by Navy Seals before long missions and it kept me awake for 53 hours. Another product that I felt should be on the banned list but perfectly acceptable for Olympic athletes.

Just saying that I feel his sciencetific techniques that once worked might be a bit outdate....especially when you consider how tamely we finish the last 10 games of a season now...we just fall apart and cant seem to even compete for the ball and this seems to have starting happenening at around about the same time a few years ago when we had the massive explosion in the Fitness products.

Having someone like him alongside you.

He was probably not as good as we thought he was pre injury and certsinly isnt as bad as 'we' think he is now.

You are right about the touches by the way. That isnt his problem.

I still believe he'll be a star for us one day.
