this is the world's best golf swing. It's a joy watching it. Oh, and the eccent is pretty cool too.

Els' swing is beautiful. Now there are plenty of great golfers with weird swings too.

I can appreciate the quality of certain shots etc but a swing is a swing I'm afraid.

which again means that the timing of when the speed/force is applied is optimal with regards to generating clubhead speed right when the club hits the ball. Which mean that follow through has a very important effect on the shot - because the follow through is an image of what went on before you hit the ball. Same with football, boxing etc.

but it hit the brick side wall and bounced 50 yards onto the green, 2 ft from the pin and got a birdie http://www.awimb.com/images/smiley_icons/rolleyes.gif

Ski Jumping.

Timimng and rythm means everything. But when you're in form, it comes automatically and you cannot understand how you can fail, coz it's so easy. Then, when you lose it, it seems hopless to get it back. Typically, both the first jumps and the first shots of the season were very good, coz one tends to relax and not hit/jump so hard. Then, when you start thinking, trouble sets in.

shot a 72 (on a par 71 course). 34 out (2 under) and 38 (3 over) in. I sank every putt.

To my joy, my daughter, who's quite a talented ball player, now has started enjoying golf. Now I love football just as much as anyone, but being a lady, golf is so much more appreciated than football. AND you can enjoy it until you're 95.

on a par 3 the other week felt good. Not many good shots recently, need to play far more often to make any sort of improvement (averaging about 1 round per month at the moment).

But once you're there, it's fantastic to play when the birds are singing and the grass is still a bit moist before the sun burns off the dew.
